We only collect the data needed for the following purposes:

Handling enquiries and quotes

The first name, surname, email address, phone number and project description you provide through the contact form. Legal basis: taking pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Sending commercial information

With your express consent, we may send you news about our home automation services. You can withdraw this consent at any time. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Statistical analysis of the website

Anonymised or pseudonymised browsing data, used to improve the user experience. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Measuring advertising campaigns

If you accept the advertising cookies, we measure which ads generate quote requests so that we don't waste our advertising spend. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3 Data retention

Data collected through the contact form is kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry or quote and, where applicable, for the duration of the contractual relationship. Once that relationship ends, the data is blocked for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

Data processed for commercial communications is kept until you withdraw your consent or request its erasure.

4 Disclosure of data to third parties

2SmartHome does not sell, rent or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may only be accessed by:

Technology service providers acting as data processors (hosting, transactional email), under contract and with appropriate safeguards.
Google Ireland Ltd., as an independent controller, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, and only if you accept the advertising cookies. When you provide your email address or phone number in the form, they are shared hashed with SHA-256, without Google having access to them in plain text. This may involve an international transfer to the USA, covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and by standard contractual clauses.
Public authorities or law enforcement agencies, where required by applicable law.

2SmartHome reserves the right to amend this privacy policy to adapt it to new legislation or to changes in our services. The date of the last update will always be shown at the top of this document.
